Nothing leaves your iPhone.

Levende is an iPhone app by Peter Theill. Updated 7 October 2026. Contact: support@levende.theill.com

No data collected

Levende doesn't collect any data. There's no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and the App Store label is “Data Not Collected”.

No internet at all

The app never connects to the internet. Drawings, photos, cutouts and videos are processed on your iPhone and are never sent anywhere – not to us and not to anyone else.

Camera

Levende uses the camera to scan drawings, take photos and show your figures in AR. The pictures stay on your iPhone.

Photos

When you pick a picture, iOS only gives Levende the picture you choose. To save a video or a cutout, Levende asks for permission to add to your photo library. It can't see your other photos and videos.

Your figures

The figures you make are kept in the app's own storage on your iPhone. If you delete the app, they're deleted too.

Screen recording in AR

Recording in AR uses iOS screen recording for the app, without the microphone. The video stays on your iPhone until you save or share it.

Purchases

If you buy the optional Supporter, Apple handles the payment. We never get any payment details.

Support emails

If you write to support, we use what you send to answer you. Mail is handled by our email providers. Write if you'd like your correspondence deleted.
